HONG KONG

Plan ride to Hong Kong: a dream without a child!

I wish we had longer in Hong Kong. Because we just a short stop over we did a tour around the island. We were unable to try out any restaurants or do much shopping which I was sad about because that is what Hong Kong is known for, maybe someday.....

In the morning we walked through a park. There were tons of older people out walking, doing exercises and yoga. It was fun to see all the people.

We took a bus tour that stopped at Victoria Peak (panoramic view of Hong Kong Island), drove past Repulse Bay (beautiful), and stopped at the famous fishing village of Aberdeen. There we boarded a sampan to see all the floating houses and the famous Jumbo floating restaurant. Next we shopped at Stanley Market. I wish we would have bought some more stuff. They had really neat things for cheap. Our last stop was at a jewelry factory that I could have done without. At the last stop our bus broke down so they had to call in a new bus. The bus had to take us back to the airport. It was quite an adventure. The bus got stuck trying to go into the undercover parking lot in the airport, so they told us to get out and hop over a this fence. We barely made our flight. We had a good laugh once we were on the airplane.

Here are the pictures of Hong Kong

Wow! You guys have been busy moving and unpacking and traveling and...and...and! What an amazing trip to see Hong Kong and go to Bali. I can't wait to see more pictures from your trip and from your new place in TX. Glad you had fun and could enjoy the trip without being worried about Jack.
